Procedure Teacher's and Students' activities Content Check- up -Ask Sts to greet each other depend on the dialogues p.10 -Call on some pairs -Check and correct Pre-listening -Ask Sts some questions: 1.What are they doing? 2.Who are they in this picture? 3.Where are they? 4.What are they doing? -Explain the task and let Sts listen to the dialogue. While-listening - Have Sts listen again. -Get them practice the dialogue in pairs, changing roles Post-listening -Sts practice the dialogue in pairs. -Have Sts make up a new dialogue in pairs and others find out the questions and responses they use to ask about health. Pre - reading -Ask Sts to look at the picture and introduce the situation -Raise the pre-questions Where is Hoa from? Who is she staying with? How many friends does she have? Let them listen to the cassette, have them repeat chorally, then practice in pairs. Ask them to notice the suggestion or polite requests with “Would you like? Let’s , What about you? Can you make it on ? Ask students to make other dialogue, using the information given in their schedule and the advertising posters. Call some pairs of students and have them pratice before class.
