HCM was born in 1890 in Nghe An prowince, in the village of Kim Lien . When he was 21 years old, he left VNand traveled to Africa, England and America. He founded the Indochinese Communist Party when he was living in Guangzhow. Four years later, he became president of the Democratis Republic of VN after VN declared its dependence HCM died in AN in 1969, but he will always be remembered by the Vietnamese people
