Pre-
Let them look at the pictures and brainstorm the work or daily activities of a typical farmer.
Introduce the situation of the text by the pictures in the textbook. Mr.Tuan is taking the buffalo to the fields.
Get sts to read to answer the question: How many hours a day does Mr Tuan work a day?
While-
Have students read the text by themselves.
Elicit the meaning of the key vocabulary in the passage.
Ask students to read the text again to answer
Post-
Sts answer the following questions.
How many hours a day does Mr Tuan work a day?
What does Mr Tuan do?
What time does he start work?
What does he do in the mornig?
Does he grow rice?
What is his main crop?
