 I- PRESENTATION (13’)
- asks Ss to read the dialogue and pick out the model.
- writes the model and runs it through.
- does concept check.
- gives examples of another ways
 II- PRACTICE (12’)
- shows the cards and runs through the words.
- makes the model with the first card.
- instructs Ss to practise by the cards.
 III- PRODUCTION (10’)
- asks Ss to write the full sentences on the board and them check them.
- asks Ss to read through the advestisements and makes the model.
- instructs Ss to change the information
- asks them to practice it in pairs
- gets feedback.
1. Presentation Dialogue. (P.139)
*) Model:
 -My aunt and uncle don/t like it
 - They prefer to do other things
*) Use and Form: when we talk about preferences in a special situation, we use:
 S + like/prefer + V (to-infinitive )
- read them individually.
- read out the model with T.
- pick out the meaning, form and use.
- work with teacher .
2. Word-cue drill.

Nga/ not/ meet friends
Example:
S1: What does she prefer?
S2: She prefers music.
- read out the words.
- follow teacher/s and practise making sentences.

3. Write-it - up
- write them individually and check it.
4. Make the dialogue (Part 2- P.142)
Ba: Would you like to go to the movies?
Nam: That sounds good. What would you like to see?.
Ba: a cowboy movie at the New Age theater.
Nam: I am sorry. I prefer to see detective movie.
Ba: There is one at Fansland Theater. Would you like to see it?
Nam: Yes, I/d love to
Ba: let/s go
- read them out and make the model with T
- making the dialogue in pairs.
- make the dialogue to the front
Consolidation: (3’)
- Uses Production.
- Ask Ss to present in class, listen & give feedback
Homework: (2’)
Asks Ss to do exercise A2,3- P.88,89 (workbook).
Instructs them to prepare A3.
