Warm up: T puts some questions – Ss answer: - How many rooms are there in your house? - What is there in your room? - Is there a TV... in your living room...? 3. New lesson: METHOD CONTENT *Presentation Have students look at the pictures. Set the scene and have them name the objects in the picture. Present prepositions of position. Show them the prepositions of the objects in the picture in relation to other objects. Explain the usage of structures” there is..., there are... Ask Ss to give examples *Practice Ask students to point and say the objects in the picture in pairs. Call some couples present before the class. Remark and correct the mistakes if neccesary. Let them work in pairs, point and say the position of each object. Have them change the role. Let them ask and answer about the position of the objects in the picture (in pairs) Let them note the prepositions. Ask Ss to present before the class. Remark and correct the mistakes if neccesary. Help students how to pronounce and then students are asked to read in chorus. Call some Ss to read aloud. Remark. A3. Look at the picture.
