Procedure: 
 A. Warm-up: * Chatting:
What do you study in.............?
Are you good at.................?
What is your favorite subject?
Do you like playing games? 
Which game do you like playing?
When do you usually play it?
 B. Presentation:
Now you look at these pictures and speak what they are doing.
Can you guess, what games are they playing? (can speak by Vietnamese)
Pre teach vocabulary.
- ( to ) talk about ...	: nói về ...
- ( to ) chat	: nói chuyện, tán ngẫu.
- ( to ) play catch	 : chơi trò đuổi bắt
- ( to ) play marble	: chơi bi
- ( to ) play blind man’s bluff	: chơi trò bịt mắt bắt dê.
- ( to ) skip rope	: chơi nhảy dây.
-Repetition drill: Chorus – group – individual
-Checking up: Slap the board.
Set the scene:
 	Now, you’re going to listen to a tape about activities at recess. Discuss with your friends what activities students will do at recess.
Activities at recess
Revise: Present Progressive tense.
Ex: Some boys are playing marbles
 	S + am/is/are + V-ing.
Practice: Picture Cue Drill: Pictures B1 - P.56
 Example Exchanges: 
a) What are the boys and the girls doing?
 The boys are talking, and the girls are skipping rope.
b) What are they doing? 
 They are eating, drinking and chatting.
c) What are the boys doing?
 They are playing marbles.
d) What are the students doing?
 They are playing blindman’s bluff.
e) What are the boys doing?
 They are playing catch.
f) What are the boy and the girl doing?
 They are reading a book. 	
B1b. Ask and answer the questions about you with a partner.
C. Production: *Listening:
- Set the scene:
 Mai Lan Kien Ba
 How many people .?/
 How many activities ?
And now, you’re going to listen to the tape about Lan, Ba, Kien and Mai. Before listening, guess what exactly each people do
- Prediction: 
 Mai playing catch 
 Lan playing marbles 
 Kien skipping rope
 Ba playing blindman’s bluff
- Answerkey: ▹ Mai is playing catch.
▹ Kien is playing blindman’s bluff.
