T has Ss sing an English song.

*Presentation:
T: asks Ss to answer the question “What do you usually do after school?”
Ss: answer. ( maybe the answers are in Vietnamese)
T: sticks the pictures on the board, asks Ss to look at them and answer the teacher’s questions “What are they doing in each picture?”
Ss: answer:
 - They are playing volleyball
 - They are doing their homework
 - They are meeting friends
T: You will hear a conversation between Minh and Hoa. They are talking about their after school activities.
T: plays the tape the first time.
Ss: listen (books closed).
T: plays the tape the second time.
Ss: listen again (books opened).
T: asks Ss to look at the dialogue and try to understand it.
T: gives them the meaning of the difficult words.
T: leads Ss to read.
Ss: repeat them after the teacher.
T: calls some Ss to read aloud.
T: has Ss listen and repeat the dialogue after the tape.
Ss: repeat sentence by sentence after the tape.
T: introduces the way to make suggestions, invitations.
*Practice:
T: asks Ss to practice the dialogue in pairs.
