I. Objectives:
1. Knowledge:
- Ss will able to master cardinal number from 0- 9.
- Ss will able to read complex number such as: 0, 88, 1133
- Ss will able to ask and answer about telephone number.
2. Skills:
- read phone number fluently.
- recognize telephone number through the listening skill.
II. Preparation:
- textbook, tape, cassette player

- present new lesson.
B. Presentation:
1. Activity 1: How to read telephone number?
- ask Ss to look at part 1 on the page 19, then answer question: “Where is the list of telephone number from?” →”It is from telephone directory”
Read telephone number
Stop beat after code.
Divide telephone number into group of three to easy to read.
The number has 2 same number can read following 2 ways (ex: 88 can read “double eight” or eight- eight)
- ask Ss to practice aloud the telephone numbers.
- ask Ss to practice in pairs the telephone number of 6 people in list on page 20. 
- explain way to read complex numbers such as: 800,222, 000
2. Activity 2. Listening stage.
Set the scene: we will listen to some people’s telephone numbers. Please, write down the numbers you hear.
- play the tape in part 2 on page 20 twice or three times.
- ask Ss to listen and compare their work with partner.
- check and correct.
- play the tape again to give right keys

IV. Consolidation:
- repeat the way to read complex telephone numbers.

- listening and complete the dialogue.

1. How to ask and answer about telephone numbers?
- ask Ss to look at the picture in part 3on page 20.
- give some questions 
Do you often talk with someone on the phone?
Do you know the question asking for telephone numbers?
Do you know how to give your telephone number to other people?
- set the scene: we are going to listen the dialogue between Lan and Hoa. They are asking about telephone numbers.
- play the tape and ask Ss to listen carefully.
- give target item. (ask for telephone numbers)

- play the tape again and ask Ss to practice the dialogue in pairs.

- ask Ss work in pairs and then compare with partner.
- give feedback and correct mistakes.
2. How to talk to other on phone?
- ask Ss to look at the picture in part 4 on page 21.
- give some questions:
Who are they in the picture?
What are they doing?
What are they talking about? Can you guess it?
- play the tape and ask Ss to listen carefully.
- present new structure:
Simple future tense
(+) S + Will + V (- inf) 
(-) S + Will not (won’t) + V (- inf)
(?) Will + S + V (-inf)
- Usages:

While- listening
- play the tape twice or three times.
- ask Ss listen carefully and do exercise and then compare with partner.
- ask some Ss to present their work in front of class.
