Activity 1. Talk about daily or weekly schedule.
- set the scene: Do you know/ have your daily and weekly schedule? Do you usually follow the schedule?
- ask Ss to look at section 5 on page 44.
- play the tape once time and ask Ss to listen carefully.
- give the target item:
Ask about time with “When”
When + do/ does + S + V- inf? = What time?
Ex: When do you have Math? = What time do you have Math?
Ask about favorite subject.
What’s + one’s favorite subject?
Ex: What is your favorite subject?
Structure: “too” đứng cuối câu để khẳng định sự đồng tình.
Ex: I like English, and She likes it, too.
Preposition “on” stands in front of days in week.
- play the tapes twice or three times and stop the tape at each statement to explain.
- ask Ss to practice the dialogue in pairs.
- ask some pairs to practice in front of class.
- ask Ss to write down their class schedule (with time) in exercise book.
- give guide to Ss: After finishing writing, use structures in the lesson to ask and answer about your schedule in pairs.
- ask some pairs to practice in pairs.
