Teaching aim: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to review lesson from unit 9 to unit 11: Ed- Ing participles, passive form, adjective followed infinitive/ noun-clause, present perfect tense, Do/ Would you mind .?

I. OBJECTIVES:
Teaching aim: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to review lesson from unit 9 to unit 11: Ed- Ing participles, passive form, adjective followed infinitive/ noun-clause, present perfect tense, Do/ Would you mind..?

1. Warm – Up: (5’)
¯ Matching
- Have students match words and pictures/ p. 109.
a. box , b. lamp , c. truck , d. doll , 
e. flowers , f. elephant , g. bear , h. rabbit
2. Exercises: (35’)
a/ Exercise 1: Ed – Ing participle
- Set the scene: ‘It’s time for recess at Quang Trung School. Everybody are in the school yard. What are they doing?’
- Ask questions and call students to answer.
Suggested words
a. Miss Lien / carrying a bag / talking to Nam.
b. Nam / talking to Miss Lien / standing next to Miss Lien.
c. Ba / sitting under the tree / reading a book.
d. Lan / standing by the table / watching Nga and Hoa playing chess.
e. Nga and Hoa / playing chess.
- Explain the target language.
Ex: Who is the man walking up the stairs?
[ The man walking up the stairs is Mr. Quang.
- Call some students to read the answers.
1. The woman carrying the bag is Miss Lien.
2. The boy talking to Miss Lien is Nam.
3. The boy sitting under the tree is Ba.
4. The girl standing by the table is Lan.
5. The girls playing chess are Nga and Hoa.
b/ Exercise 2: Ed – Ing participle
-Ask students to match the verbs in the box and the pictures
1. box – paint
2. truck – recycled from
3. lamp – made in
4. doll – dress in
5. flowers – wrap in
6. toys – keep in
- Explain the target language.
 Ex: How much is the old lamp made in China?
 ]The old lamp made in China is five dollars.
- Ask students to do the exercise.
- Call students to read the answers.
1. The box painted green is one dollar.
2. The truck made from recycled cans is two dollars.
3. The doll dressed in red is two dollars.
4. The flowers wrapped in blue paper are one dollar.
5. The toys kept in the cardboard box are ten dollars.
c/ Exercise 3: Would you mind + V-ing.........?
- Review structure.
- Ask students to do exercise 3/ p. 109.
- Call some students to read the answer.
a. Would you mind moving your car?
No, of course not.
b. Would you mind putting out your cigaterre?
Not at all.
c. Do you mind getting me a cup of coffee?
I’m sorry. I can’t
d. Would you mind waiting a moment?
I’m sorry. It isn’t possible.
d/ Exercise 4: Would/ Do you mind + If + V(ed/ 2)/ V- Inf ?
- Ask students to do exercise 4/ p. 110.
- Call some students to read the answer.
a. Do you mind if I sit I sit down?/ Please do.
b. Would you mind if I smoked?/ I’d rather you didn’t.
c. Would you mind if I asked you any help?/ Please do.
d. Do you mind if I turn down the radio?/ Please go ahead.
e. Would you mind if I turned the air conditioner on?/ No, of course not.
f. Do you mind if I watch TV while eating?/ I’d prefer you didn’t.
3. Consolidation: (3’)
- Have students do the exercise. 
Use the right form of the verbs in the box to fill in the gaps
