I. OBJECTIVES:
1. Educational aim: Students can write and send postcard for friends or family.
2. Teaching aims: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to write postcards to their friends about their trips, develop their writing skill.

- Have students to write words to describe weather.

2. Pre – Writing: (10’)
- Ask question:
+ Do you always send postcard to your friends or relatives when you are on holiday?
+ What do you write on the postcard?
- Set the scene:
“From the USA, Mrs Quyen sent a post cards to her friend Sally to tell her about the trip”
- Ask students to look at the postcard on p. 118 and complete the gaps with the appropriate words.
- Call some students to write the answers on the board.

3. While – Writing: (15’)
- Ask students to look at the information in the book.
- Ask questions:
1. What do you write about the places?

- Ask students to write the postcards on a piece of paper, using the given information.
- Call some students to read their postcards in front of the class.
- Display the answers on the board.
