I. OBJECTIVES:
Teaching aims: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to understand the text in details and express their interests in clothing.

- Have Ss play a game”Jumble words”

2. Pre - reading (13’)
- Have Ss look at the picture and answer some questions
What are they wearing?
Do you like wearing jeans?
Do you know when jeans appeared for the first time? Where?
What was jean cloth made from?
- Introduce some new words:
+ embroider (v)
+ economic (adj)
 economy(n)
+ wear out (v)
+ worldwide (adv)
+ cotton (n)
+ generation (n)
+ label (n)
- Ask Ss to practice new words.
- Whole class.
- Listen and write.
- Practice new words.
3. While - reading (20’)
+ Activity 1:
- Have Ss read the text and answer the questions above
1. They are wearing jeans.
2. Yes/ No. 
3. It appeared in the 18th century in Italy
4. Jean cloth was made from cotton
+ Activity 2:
- Have Ss read the text again and complete the missing dates and words.
- Get feedback.

5. 1990s...... sale
- Collect 5 papers to get marks.
+ Activity 3:
- Have Ss read it again and answer the questions
1. From a kind of material that was made in Europe.
